Shuster Design Associates’ studio is the vessel for our award winning brand of interior design. It serves to inspire and ground our full service high end design work in a single remarkable uniform statement; a building that represents the unmistakable signature style that Shuster Design Associates is known for.
Next to the fabulous new Wilton Station, in historic Wilton Manors, this prairie-style landmark building was designed by world-renown architect, Dan Duckham in 1965. It was originally built for the Robinson Beauty School and later acquired by the Huizenga Family as the administrative offices of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.
“Organic implies orderly growth. I think of my architecture as organic in that ideas grow from the seed of a clients needs and desires, and the limitations or potentials of the site. I seek first a cohesive conceptual idea, which becomes the framework within which all tributary decisions are made. Order, clarity and harmony are the goals.”
– Dan Duckham
Home Fort Lauderdale magazine was so impressed with what Louis has done to this historic building, they wrote a major article on the restoration process.
The restoration of this Dan Duckham building is so outstanding that Louis was presented with an Award for Excellence.
